ABSTRACT:

We all have watched Amazon change the retail landscape and the way business is done. But now Amazon’s growth, innovations and transformations require a response. Amazon has awakened the Walmart giant, and now all companies in retail, B2B and consumer products must face the Amazon and Walmart titans. It is no longer viable to rely on in-store sales alone. Amazon is able to inexpensively offer customers same-day delivery, while Walmart is making huge strides in using omnichannel innovations to draw customers.

Dr. Jim Tompkins will lead a roundtable discussion about the disruptions the titans are causing in many industries.  Most importantly, he will discuss the elements of how you can effectively respond. Retailers, consumer package goods manufacturers, and distributors are fighting an omnichannel and same-day delivery battle.
