Urban Logistics & Land Transportation Management Workshop
The Logistics Institute Asia-Pacific at the National University of Singapore (NUS TLI-AP) together with the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia have established an education curriculum for a training programme on urban logistics and transport management frameworks for leaders and specialists from government and state-owned enterprises in Indonesia.
The workshops are aimed at aligning with and supporting the Indonesian National Logistics System Development (SISLOGNAS) by building an adequate foundation in Supply Chain Management for Urban Transportation Management competitiveness.
The objective of the workshop is to develop capabilities of participants from government and state-owned enterprises and local universities/colleges in fundamental knowledge in urban logistics and transportation management. The workshop will be supported by local-context case studies and an interactive learning game.
The workshop will illustrate how complex data is involved in urban transport management, and what are the competitiveness factors for several activities in urban transport management. The aim is to increase the strategic understanding and operational best practices in urban logistics and transport management to enable formulation of strategic policies and action plans for sustainable urban transportation management.
