The Institute was invited by The ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on disaster management (AHA Centre) to facilitate a session titled “Innovation in Disaster Management.” for their Capacity Building for Leadership in Emergency and Disaster Management for ASEAN Programme (LEDMP), Middle Level 2024 on 28th – 29th Feb 2024.
During this thought-provoking session with representatives from ASEAN disaster management agencies, we discussed the role of emerging technologies including AI and e-commerce in disaster management, with a keen focus on logistics and supply chain management aspects, the backbone of disaster relief missions.
