Associate Professor Mark Goh is a member of the National University of Singapore. A faculty of the Business School, he holds the appointments of Director (Industry Research) at TLI - Asia Pacific and a Principal Researcher at the Centre for Transportation Research. He was a Program Director of the Penn-State NUS Logistics Management Program. He was also Director of Supply Chain Solutions for Asia/Middle East with APL Logistics, responsible for crafting logistics engineering solutions for major MNCs in this part of the world. Other past appointments held by Dr. Goh include: Board Member of the Chartered Institute of Transport (Singapore), Chairman of the Academic Board of Examiners for the Singapore Institute of Purchasing and Materials Management, member of the Advisory Committee of the Transportation Resource Centre (NUS) and Vice President of the Operations Research Society of Singapore, Associate Senior Fellow of the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies. His other professional affiliations include membership of INFORMS, and the Academy of International Business. His biography appears in the Who's Who in Asia and the Pacific Nations, the Who’s Who in the World, and in the Outstanding People of the 20th Century.

He has been involved in executive training and a consultant for organisations both in Singapore and overseas, such as PSA Corp, Siemens Nixdorf, CAAS, Fuji-Xerox AP, Hewlett-Packard Far East, DHL, and Cleanaway (China). He is currently on the editorial boards of the Journal of Supply Chain Management, Q3 Quarterly, Journal for Inventory Research, International Journal of Supply Chain Management and Advances in Management Research. Sanjeev Nagrath

Sanjeev Nagrath is an IBM Global Business Services’ (GBS) Partner and serves as the Global Supply Chain Management Practice Leader. In his role, Mr. Nagrath is focused on helping clients advance their supply chain transformation agendas globally. He has responsibility for the Supply Chain Management practice strategy and execution for GBS and is a member of the IBM Global Business Services Leadership Council.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Nagrath served as the Global Travel and Transportation Industry Leader. In this role, Mr. Nagrath focused on helping clients transform their businesses by advancing the necessary processes and systems solutions to deliver sustained business value. He had responsibility for the Travel & Transportation industry go to market strategy and execution for GBS and was a member of the IBM Travel and Transportation Industry Leadership Team.

Prior to his Travel and Transportation role, Mr. Nagrath served as the Global Relationship Partner (GRP) for a strategic client in the Americas. As GRP, Mr. Nagrath partnered with key client executives to develop solutions to address business challenges facing this multinational client. Mr. Nagrath’s areas of expertise include Strategic Planning with a focus on Supply Chain Management and Information Technology as well as enterprise-wide business transformation initiatives.

Mr. Nagrath joined PwC Consulting in 1990 and was admitted to the Partnership in 1996. IBM acquired PwC Consulting in October 2002. Prof Stephan M. Wagner

Professor Wagner holds the Chair of Logistics Management at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich, Switzerland. Besides conducting research and teaching, he also consults with and conducts executive training programs for leading companies and business associations.

Prior he served on the faculty of WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, Germany, and worked for 10 years as head of supply chain management for a Swiss-based technology group and as senior manager for an international top-management consulting firm. He obtained a MBA from Washington State University, and both, a Ph.D. and Habilitation degree from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.

His research interests include supply chain strategy, purchasing and supply management, buyer-supplier relationships, and the management of logistics service firms. He is author and editor of eight books and over hundred book chapters and articles. His internationally recognized research has been published in journals such as Journal of Business Logistics, Journal of Supply Chain Management, Journal of Purchasing & Supply Management, European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Research, Journal of Management, or Journal of Business Research. He is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Supply Chain Management as well as the Journal of Purchasing & Supply Management, and serves on the editorial board of other leading journals.

Mr. Yeonho Yoo

Dr Archer Fu is the Director of Supply Chain Consultancy at DHL Global Customer Solutions, Asia Pacific. He commands years of experience in providing supply chain solution design and consultancy for multi national companies. Dr Fu’s areas of specialization include supply chain strategy, network design, inventory optimization, transportation planning, warehousing and distribution etc.

Dr Fu obtained his Ph.D. degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Nanyang Technological University in 2002 in Singapore. He has published more than 15 papers in international journals and conference in the areas of supply chain management, logistics optimization, China logistics industry development etc. Dr Fu has been invited to give speeches on Singapore Lianhe Zaobao Business Seminar, Annual Conference of China Import & Export Enterprises, DHL Logistics Management University (LMU) Supply Chain Seminar, and many other international events.

Mr Jeffrey Kurkowski, Asset Management

Mr. Jeffrey Kurkowski is an asset management professional with over 30 years experience in the asset management discipline. He has direct IT experience including 8 years in the information technology and programming fields for maintenance and engineering organizations from his early career. He has consulted for clients in the multiple asset classes in both asset intensive and service industries worldwide. He has personal work experience in field maintenance, parts inventory, work flow process, heavy and light industry, retail and service oriented areas.

Mr Kurkowski is one of the founding principals of IBM's worldwide Asset Management Solutions consulting group, the largest in the world. He also manages IBM’s Asset Management Center of Excellence. Today, he works with many fortune 500 corporation executives, consults as a subject matter expert to project teams and clients, and is often an external speaker on the topic of Asset Management to groups around the world.

Philip Kwa is a Director for Supply Chain Management products - focusing on Transportation Management Solution at Oracle Corporation based in Singapore. He works with strategic customers developing SCM solutions to meet their business requirements.

He has more than 17 years of regional consulting experience. He has worked with clients in various industries such as Hi Tech, Consumer Electronics, Consumer Products and Automotive to design and implement large scale ERP/SCM solutions and IT Transformation projects. He has worked extensively in the region such as Thailand, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, USA , Europe. He moved to China in 2001 and has recently moved back to Singapore.

Prof John Langley, Director, Supply Chain Executive Programs
Georgia Institute of Technology

Dr. C. John Langley Jr. is Professor of Supply Chain Management and Director of Supply Chain Executive Programs at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Dr. Langley is a former President of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, and a recipient of the Council’s Distinguished Service Award. In 2007 he was recognized by the American Society of Transportation and Logistics as an Honorary Distinguished Logistics Professional for his long-term contributions and continuing commitment to the transportation logistics community. He received his Ph.D. degree in Business Logistics from Penn State University.

Dr. Langley has co-authored several books, including Supply Chain Management: A Logistics Perspective, an 8th edition textbook published 2008. He is lead author of the annual Third Party Logistics Study, and has just completed the 2008 13th Annual 3PL Study. Dr. Langley also serves on the Boards of Directors of UTi Worldwide, Inc., Averitt Express, Inc., and Forward Air Corporation, in addition to several involvements on academic advisory boards to logistics organizations. He also serves currently as Education Advisor for NASSTRAC.

Marcus Robinson, Director, Asia Pacific Supply Chain Management
Maersk Logistics

Marcus Robinson was appointed Director of Supply Chain Management for Maersk Logistics in November 2007. Based in Singapore, he oversees International Logistics activities, as well as domestic 3PL services for Maersk Logistics across the Asia Pacific Region. He manages over 600 staff across nine countries in the region.

Marcus is an industry veteran with some 15 years experience in the logistics sector. His extensive experience includes management positions held in Operations, Warehousing and Distribution, Export Distribution Centre and Supply Chain Development, where he has been responsible for strategic business development, implementation and operations. Marcus has accumulated a wealth of international work experience, having lived and worked in Asia Pacific, China and North America previously.

Marcus holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from Monash University and also a Graduate Diploma in Logistics Management from RMIT University in Australia.

Dr. Robert de Souza is the Executive Director of the The Logistics Institute - Asia Pacific (TLI - Asia Pacific). Robert is a Chartered Engineer and a distinguished writer, speaker, consultant and advisor in the area of supply chain management.

Prior to this appointment, effective May 1st 2004, Dr Robert de Souza served as Deputy Executive Director (Industry) and IT Director at TLI - Asia Pacific. Previously, Dr de Souza was Executive Vice President (Asia Pacific) for V3 Systems. His extensive tenure in the industry also includes serving as the Corporate Senior Vice President and Global Chief Knowledge Officer at Viewlocity Inc. and co-founder, Vice Chairman and CEO of SC21 Pte, Ltd., a Singapore-based supply chain software firm. As an educator, Dr de Souza is an Adjunct Professor in the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta and also a Senior Fellow in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the National University of Singapore and has previously served as a professor and in several senior positions in the School of Mechanical and Production Engineering at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

Dr. de Souza is a member of the Editorial Boards of the International Journal of Computer Integrated Manufacturing and the International Journal of Logistics Research and Applications. Dr de Souza also serves on the Advisory Panel of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, Singapore (CILTS), as a Council Member of the Singapore eSupply Chain Management (eSCM) Council and on the Boards of Directors/Advisors of several IT- based corporations.

Mr Robert Ware, Director, Global Operations

Robert Ware serves as Director of Dell Global Operations and leads the worldwide Supply Chain Logistics teams.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Ware has held various roles during his 15 years with the company’s global procurement and supply demand organizations.

Mr. Ware joined Dell in 1994 from Digital Switch Communications where he served in various supply chain and account management roles for the global telecommunications equipment provider.
